The Radicate Video-Story
The Radicate video-story is the testimony of an intensive immersion in the Campo dei Giganti, where the international laboratory curated by Residui Teatro, under the expert guidance of Gregorio Amicuzi and Viviana Bovino, gave life to an unprecedented ritual of regeneration from June 1st to 8th, 2025.
The footage by our resident filmmaker Chiara Stravato daily captured the vibrant generosity of the participants—Loredana Biondo, Dalila Cavalera, Clémence Demay, Anna Di Bari, Chiara Magnelli, Giuseppe Mappa, Otto Marco Mercante, Martina Ricciardi, Cesare Emanuele Romanello, Stefania Puntaroli, and Giorgia Siciliano—who were able to inhabit the landscape’s wound with their own bodies, transforming trauma into a creative act.
However, Radicate was not merely a workshop for professionals; it was an encounter of souls. On stage, alongside the artists, we saw the Villaggio Boncore community and the custodians of the Field. A weaving of generations and knowledge featured artists who wished to participate—such as Silvia Civilla, Simone Franco, Andrea Cariglia, and Egidio Fasano—together with the residents: from Cosimo Rolli to Michela Pispico and her students, to Maestro Tony and the young Rebecca Frassanito with her splendid white horse, Muscolo.
The beauty of this project lies in the human connections it managed to activate. A special thank you goes to the community of Le Fattizze: far more than just logistical support, they are a true family around whose table values and visions were shared. Our gratitude goes to Maggiolina, Cosimino, Marco, Antonio, Giovanni, Rodolfo, Claudia, and Alice.
One of the most touching moments of the journey was the symbolic gesture from Simona by SOS Fauna Calimera: the release of a hedgehog back into nature within the Campo. A small sign of life returning to flow in a place many believed was lost.
Our profound gratitude goes to Viviana Bovino and Gregorio Amicuzi. With natural ease and extraordinary sensitivity, they entered a complex natural and symbolic territory, renewing bonds and bringing a professional depth of European caliber. Thanks to them, the roots of our project have been cross-pollinated and renewed, generating a unique restitution.
Radicate has shown us that when art becomes community, everything is possible. We invite you to watch this video not as mere spectators, but as part of that “great circle” that continues to grow, upon the shoulders of our Giants.
