Project code: 2024-2-IT01-KA210-VET-000286774
Call for Papers & Practices: M.A.P. | Cultural Heritage Pedagogy as an Affective and Ecological Research Community
The transdisciplinary conference M.A.P., organized within the framework of the Erasmus Plus VET project, offers a critical reflection on the pedagogical role of cultural institutions and landscapes in crisis. Drawing on the concepts of “symbolic disinvestment” and “cultural apocalypse” (De Martino), the meeting explores mapping not as a topographical survey, but as a device for subjectivation and the regeneration of social bonds.
Thematic Axes:
- Pedagogy of Place and Embodied Education: Learning practices situated at the intersection of the body, museum spaces, and the environment.
- Heritage Education and Ecomuseology: Participatory methodologies for the management of tangible and intangible heritage.
- Cartographies of Desire: Transmutation of territorial trauma (the Xylella phytosanitary crisis) through artistic and digital media.
Event Structure:
- Theoretical and Practical Sessions (May 22): Scientific coordination keynotes and presentations of best practices in heritage education.
- Workshops (May 23): Hands-on experimentation with transnational training toolkits for activating ecological research communities.
